[A236-245] Aquiel to Arbiter of Succession

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Are you scared of spiders?

THE ENTRIES:
[236] "Aquiel"
[237] Aquino, Ensign
[238] ARA scan
[239] arachnid
[240] Arak'Taral (no card required)

NOTES:
[236] Hopefully balanced and actually enhances redshirt strategies. Source: "Aquiel", obviously.
[237] His only appearance was as a charred piece of plastic, so I composited a uniform model into a DS9 set. Source: "In the Hands of the Prophets"
[238] An infiltrator on a ship during a planet mission attempt must beam down to the planet if it chooses the first option. Personnel are only considered to be infiltrators if they are actually infiltrating opponent's crew, not if they simply have an infiltration icon. Source: "Projections"
[239] The sticking ability should probably be reserved for your opponent's hand weapons, but could be used to turn your Saltah'na Clock on and off at will. Source: "Genesis"
[240] Arak'Taral had already appeared in The Dominion expansion.

Next up: My take on a Risian.

THE ENTRIES:
[241] Arandis
[242] Arawath Colony
[243] Arbazan
[244] Arbazon vulture
[245] Arbiter of Succession (no card required)
Decipher's take, for comparison's sake:
NOTES:
[241] Adds to Love Interest/Jamaharon/Groupie strategies. I thought Risa was part of the Federation, so that's her affiliation in my version. Source: "Let He Who Is Without Sin..."
[242] Hey, these guys are dangerous. Source: DS9's "The Wire"
[243] "Their ship" is the ship the Away team beamed from. If no ship is present, the last ship or facility their were on is chosen. Source: "The Forsaken"
[244] Shape-shifters can return to their real forms, but a reported Vulture cannot be morphed into a Founder later. Yes, this is a personnel you can play as a Hidden Agenda on table. When revealed, you must play it where it could normally report from there (the better to use the shape-shifting mechanic). Source: "The Search, Part II"
[245] The card already exists as an Interrupt in the Q-Continuum expansion.

Next up: Computer, arch!

Cards: Lieutenant's Log, Aquino, Lies, All Lies!!!, Spider-Reg, Arandis, Assassinate Retired Agent, Arbazan Mores, Arbazon Vulture,

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Source: "The Host" [158] None of the named characters were in the game when I made this card (which is naturally a Program under my scheme). Holodeck Adventures would make it an Incid...

[A1-5] 'audet IX to Abandoned

Back in the late 90s, when I was deep into the Star Trek Collectible Card Game world, one of the projects I was doing on Decipher's Bulletin Boards was a massive set of dream cards under the banner "AtoZ" (with respect to Mr. Atoz of "All Our Yesterdays"). Essentially, I took the Star Trek Encyclopedia and attempted to create an ST CCG dream card for every entry, unless the character or concept already had a card, and I think at the time, Decipher didn't have access to TOS and the movies, so those seem to be excluded as well. I got to the middle of the M's, which accounts for thousands of cards. But the thing, see, is that none of those cards had graphics. They were all just text-based. Recently, I reconnected with the ST CCG community, some of them working with the Continuing Committee, which is still making new cards. They hooked me up with excellent templates from which to bring dream cards to life. And so I've gone back to my notes a...

Apocalypse Rising Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first two AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 100 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 100 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 113 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's B's. Note that Enhanced Apocalypse Rising would have been 4 special packs with set card lists, and A's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.
