[D 241-245] DNA to Dodecahdron

Connective tissue between ships and stations... THE ENTRIES: [241] DNA (no card required) [242] Dobara [243] docking clamps [244] "Doctor Bashir, I Presume?" [245] dodecahedron NOTES:  [241] Exists as DNA Clues in The Dominion expansion. [242] There's a smuggling reference in there because Penny Johnson, who played Dobara, would later play the role of Kasidy Yates on DS9. Source: "Homeward" [243] This site is where a Nor's docking sites intersect with a ship's own sites. Docking Procedures played on this ship are simply discarded. It can be played in either section (Saucer or Engineering). Source: The Encyclopedia references "Defiant", but the pic is from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. [244] Parallax Arguers has none of its usual effects when you do this. Source: "Doctor Bashir, I Presume?" [245] What was I to do with this entry: "Twelve-sided geometric solid. (Alliances [VGR])"? So I did this. Cards that cost 5 points inclu...

[C+ 6-10] Captain Proton to Cardassian

We'll start with my take on the world of Captain Proton... THE ENTRIES: [6] Captain Proton, The Adventures of [7] captain [8] carbon 60 [9] carburetor [10] Cardassian Central Archives Decipher's version for comparison: NOTES:  [6] All Captain Proton characters played by Voyager crewmembers (usually personae of the bridge crew) are pictured in black and white. Decipher's version of this, from the Holodeck Adventures set, is Holoprogram: The Fortress of Doom (included for comparison).  Source: "Bride of Chaotica!" [7] This room was missed by the Encyclopedia people, so I put it here. Source: ENT's "Shockwave" [8] A rare dilemma that affects facilities, too. Source: "Real Life" [9] The three car artifacts (all in AtoZ) may be stocked into your draw deck legally, but may only be played if Carburator has been acquired first. Source: "Vis à Vis" [10] HQ: Central Archives [B26] is a card that allows certain cards to discard there instead...

[C256-260] Communicator to Concorde

Is that a chirp I hear? THE ENTRIES: [256] communicator [257] compressed tetryon beam [258] computer core [259] comra [260] Concorde, U.S.S. NOTES:  [256] A Communicator card for the other affiliations, but it's only an Interrupt. A Communicator is any Equipment card with that word in the title. Source: "The Game" [257] Source: Referenced in "Tapestry", but one such weapon appeared in "Necessary Evil" [258] The Nanites stay on the Core until an "Otherwise" result is probed. That means you can score the Nanites' points more than once. When the Nanites are discarded on an "Otherwise", player does not score points. It is possible for you to encounter Nanites and redirect them to an opponent's Nor present. If your ship had a Core, they would go there first. Source: "That Hope Is You, Part 2" [259] Cards affecting Ocampa are like those affecting shape-shifters. You will have to look at specific game text. Source: "...

[C211-215] Cloaking Device to Club Martus

Going gambling... THE ENTRIES: [211] cloaking device [212] clone [213] "Cloud, The" [214] Clown [215] Club Martus Decipher's version for comparison: NOTES:  [211] Ever imagine a cloaking Nor? Source: "The Search, Part II" [212] This also suspends the persona rule. Decipher's version is an Incident in the Holodeck Adventures expansion (included for comparison). Source: "Up the Long Ladder" [213] Source: Voyager's "The Cloud" [214] The Clown will become more powerful when the appropriate Mind Location is created (AtoZ under K). Like Kivas Fajo, he has no INTEGRITY. Source: "The Thaw" [215] When Martus builds his Club, simply insert it in Site line. In case of Good luck, if you do not play the card, it stays on top of draw deck. If you take its points (quite lucrative in Black Hole/Supernova/Regenerate strategies), it goes to the bonus point area. You may not illegally put a mission, dilemma or Q-card in your draw deck and then...

[C146-150] Children of Tama to Chime

We need more Children of Tama... THE ENTRIES: [146] Children of Tama [147] Children's Center [148] chili burrito [149] Chilton, Ensign Nell [150] chime, Betazoid NOTES:  [146] I took the name Vorath from the Tama's lore. Since that lore also mentions Picard and Dathon, I thought it credible that it could name the Tama's first officer, rather than another mythological figure. A lot of fun writing in Tamarian. Source: "Darmok" [147] Source: "Imaginary Friend" [148] If the personnel is already at a Time Location, the "present" may be considered a different time location. You cannot relocate a personnel to a space location if no ship is present to sustain its life. Source: "Future's End, Part II" [149] Source: "All Good Things..." [150] The free card play does not count as your normal card play, of course, but can also be played at any time an Interrupt could. It still needs a personnel to upkeep it. Source: "Haven...

[C81-85] Caylem to Celestial Temple

Let's get celestial... THE ENTRIES: [81] Caylem [82] Ce Acatl [83] Celestial Auction [84] Celestial Cafe [85] Celestial Temple NOTES:  [81] When I opted to update all my Voyager designs with Delta Quadrant icons, his particular special skill stopped making sense, so I changed it to this. Source: "Resistance" [82] CHAH-mooz-ee is an Artifact, coming soon in AtoZ. Source: Referenced in "Basics, Part I"; pic from 1984's "The Mystic Warrior" [83] A Res-Q with a price, but it works at Interrupt speed and re-reports the personnel for you. Source: Referenced in "Little Green Men"; pic from "Body Parts" [84] A ship going through (as opposed to coming through) the Wormhole will not have the same effect, however. A Site played on DS9-only cannot be played on Terek Nor, but will stay on Terek Nor should DS9 ever be flipped over. Source: Referenced in "Broken Link"; pic from "Hear All, Trust Nothing" [85] The mission sti...

Broken Links [BL-B26-30] Species 8472 to The Net

More Broken Links... This time: 8472! BROKEN LINKS: [26] Species 8472 [27] Strike! [28] Baseball personnel [29] Ten-Forward [30] The Net NOTES:   [26] Needed to staff Bioships [B+49] and support all those 8472 infiltrators. In personnel battle, hand weapons don't count against them, they can't be negatively affected by Equipment cards. I almost made them unable to mix, but they definitely worked with Voyager a few times, so I've just made it more difficult to do so. Source: "Prey" [27] The card can be nullified by Bunt [B+74]. You either continue without effect, lose a personnel, or get stopped, but a "Ball" result may lose you some cards from the deck. Source: "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" [28] Captain Solok has the matching Nemesis icon. Source: "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" [29] In the list of Food-serving sites in the not to [B17]. U.S.S. Enterprise-D personnel are those that specifically reference the ship in their lore. Other ...

Broken Links [BL-B21-25] Planet-Wide Detox to Seventh Tactical Wing

More Broken Links... This time: Some of the more complicated cards to design in the set... BROKEN LINKS: [21] Ornara [22] Quinn [23] Replimat [24] Sanctuary District A [25] Seventh Tactical Wing NOTES:  [21] Search Cargo Vessel [B332] creates a region with this mission. Source: TNG's "Symbiosis"; pic from Lower Decks' "Trusted Sources" [22] The Big Bang [B201] interacts with this card (see Female Q for rules on Q-Personnel). Not only can he move a ship to that Time Location, he also takes the possibility of points part of the way with his skills AND protects the ship from destruction. The Quinn interrupt didn't exist yet, and I'm loathe to have two cards with the same title, but the download makes the distinction. Source: "Death Wish" [23] In the list of Food-serving sites in the not to [B17]. [24] The Bell Riots card [B139] plays here and initiates timeline disruption. I tried to make it work based on that card's text, which is why you...

[B341-345] Bridge Officer to Brilgar

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Report to the bridge! THE ENTRIES: [341] Bridge Officer Examination, Starfleet [342] bridge [343] Briefing with Neelix, A [344] brig [345] Brilgar NOTES:  [341] The Objective is discarded after the probe, even if that probe result states "Try again". Passing grade: When a Command icon goes up one level, you may choose to keep it a Command icon. Other possibilities include Enterprise-E, Excelsior, Original Enterprise, OCD, AU, Maquis, etc. Flying colors: The new special skill adds a skill dot to that personnel card. Source: "Thine Own Self" [342] The one Console in the proper game is Tactical Console, but I have created others for Atoz. [343] MEDICAL, Biology and Exobiology-related dilemmas are those dilemmas that require those skills to cure or pass. Note that only dilemmas that are played on the ship or crew as per their game te...

[B266-270] Boldaric Masters to Bolian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. We're getting into Bolians, one of the Federation's most underrated members... THE ENTRIES: [266] Boldaric masters [267] Bolian cuisine [268] Bolian currency [269] Bolian restaurant [270] Bolian tonic water  NOTES:  [266] No personnel actually has the skill of Music, it is simply present for use with Ressikan Flute (as modified by Batai Son of Kamin), solving missions and overcoming dilemmas. If any card asks for "Music personnel", then the OCD won't help. Only Bajoran musicians get the CUNNING bonus. Source: Referenced in "Crossfire"; image is a recolored OCD prop from First Contact. [267] You may choose to stop an unstopped personnel at any point during the turn. One personnel present MUST be stopped (even if it's your own). Source: Referenced in "Crossfire" [268] If neither of the first two possibilit...
