[A+ 41-51] Arturis to Axonol

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of sites... THE ENTRIES: [41] Arturis [42] astral eddy [43] Astrometrics [44] asymmetric encryption circuit [45] Athos IV  Decipher's version: Decipher's version: NOTES:  [41] Arturis is the frontpiece character for the P4 pack. Decipher's version came out in Voyager expansion and is included for comparison. Root Language is an AtoZ card (and there's also an AtoZ Dauntless). Source: "Hope and Fear" [42] That's right, it can damage a facility, or an opposing ship at that location! The Voyager expansion has its own version (included). Source: "Real Life" [43] You can't just enter, attempt, abort, leave, re-enter, etc. The Krenim would have had a way to change what's inside a region (don't know if I got to it), so the scan ban is lifted in that case. Other ships would have had a St...

[A+ 31-40] Anti-Back Flow Valve to Artim

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Watch out! 8472 is in the house!  THE ENTRIES: [31] anti-back flow valve [32] anticoagulant [33] antipsychotic [34] antithoron [35] Archer, Valerie  NOTES:  [31] I was planning a card to make it possible for shape-shifters to exist in space, not sure I got there, so expect something from "Chimera" in Broken Links (like One Little Ship). For now, this maneuver would kill an opposing shape-shifter real quick. If the ship is at a planet, the shifter (or One Little Ship, but I didn't make this either) can go there instead. Source: "One Little Ship" [32] Source: "The Ship" [33] This is in excess of personnel stunned when paired with MEDICALs. The Klingons need not have Treachery, hope that's clear. Source: "One" [34] Yet another short entry about a type of antimatter, and I didn't notice I al...

[A+ 21-30] Amasov to Annorax

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. There's an Andorian confusion to untangle... THE ENTRIES: [21] Amasov, Captain [22] Amonak [23] Amsterdam News [24] anaerobic metabolites [25] Andor  NOTES:  [21] The Borg-draining skill stays in effect even if Amasov is assimilated, guaranteeing he won't be targeted by smart players. The Endeavor was made and had an anti-Borg ability, too. I know the name was inspired by Isaac Asimov's, but the man was never photographed without his trademark glasses, making it impossible to Photoshop him into a credible TNG-era image. Source: Referenced in "Scorpion" [22] It's gotta be a LONE personnel, meaning no other personnel must be present for the interrupt to be played. Source: Referenced in "Hunters", but the image is from "Body and Soul" [23] A play on Extra cards, as well as on printed matter. The...

[A+ 11-20] Almond Pudding to Amaro

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Coming up, my pre-Voyager expansion take on the Hirogen... THE ENTRIES: [11] almond pudding [12] Alpha-Hirogen [13] Alpha [14] Alsuran Empire [15] Altair sandwich   Decipher's version:  NOTES:  [11] No need to reacquire Persistence of Memory. Paxan Memory Wipe is an AtoZ card. Neurolytic Emitter will be in Broken Links. Source: "Unforgettable" [12] As with Kazon and Vidiians, I had no idea Hirogen would be turned into an expansion, so this is a Non-Aligned take on the species. There can only be one Alpha-Hirogen in any given crew or Away Team regardless of the universal icon. I think the STRENGTH is appropriate, though the real deal, Idrin (from The Borg expansion) only scored a 12 (included for comparison). See Broken Links for Target Prey. He is P2's frontpiece image. Source: "Hunters" [13] Amply represented by...

[A+ 1-10] Acrybite to Almar

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. When a new edition of the Encyclopedia came out with an addendum at the back, I snatched it up and started making cards on the new entries as - to use Decipher's own terminology - Enhanced Apocalypse Rising. I could have moved to B directly and come back round to Enhanced A, but I was keen to see more recent episodes/movies in my cards... THE ENTRIES: [1] acrybite [2] Adislo, Hars [3] "Afterimage" [4] Agrat-mot Nebula [5] ahdar  NOTES:  Rarity explained: These would have been distributed in 4 boxes (P1-P4) each with 12 Premiums and 2 regular Apocalypse Rising booster packs. Boxes P2 and P4 have 13 Premiums. I'll mention it when a card image was meant to serve as box frontpiece, because I have that in my notes. [1] As an Event: The Ferengi ceases to be a valid target if a) it is discarded, b) it loses the skill Acquisiti...
