[A+ 11-20] Almond Pudding to Amaro

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Coming up, my pre-Voyager expansion take on the Hirogen...

THE ENTRIES:
[11] almond pudding
[12] Alpha-Hirogen
[13] Alpha
[14] Alsuran Empire
[15] Altair sandwich

Decipher's version:
NOTES:
[11] No need to reacquire Persistence of Memory. Paxan Memory Wipe is an AtoZ card. Neurolytic Emitter will be in Broken Links. Source: "Unforgettable"
[12] As with Kazon and Vidiians, I had no idea Hirogen would be turned into an expansion, so this is a Non-Aligned take on the species. There can only be one Alpha-Hirogen in any given crew or Away Team regardless of the universal icon. I think the STRENGTH is appropriate, though the real deal, Idrin (from The Borg expansion) only scored a 12 (included for comparison). See Broken Links for Target Prey. He is P2's frontpiece image. Source: "Hunters"
[13] Amply represented by Jem'Hadar cards like the Blaze of Glory expansion's Kudak’Etan.
[14] Another mission for Delta quadrant NAs. The mission is attempted entirely from space, but it IS a planet location where Away Teams may survive, ships may land and facilities be built. Considered [planet] for everything except mission solving/scouting (and dilemma seeding). Broken Links will take care of Krenim Timeship. Source: VOY's "Year of Hell, Part II"
[15] That's +4 STRENGTH, +4 INTEGRITY for Bashir. Source: "You Are Cordially Invited"

And now: I tried to tackle "shrouding"...

THE ENTRIES:
[16] Aluura
[17] alva
[18] Alzen
[19] Amanin
[20] Amaro
Decipher's version:

NOTES:
[16] I do believe a lot of the Ferengi females are going to be Ferengi employees because we haven't seen a lot of true females on the show. Decipher then made an Aluura in the Rules of Acquisition expansion (included). Source: "Profit and Lace"
[17] Source: "Resurrection"
[18] This is what I wrote at the time: Shrouding will be an ability like cloaking for personnel. Jem'Hadar will be able to do it with a special Event out and in play; Alzen may do so at any time. Personnel may only shroud or unshroud once per turn, and are forbidden from doing anything except moving (walking). No battling, no staffing ships, no mission solving or dilemma passing. Her special ability works even with the shroud on, in fact, ONLY if the shroud is on. Shrouding turned out to be an Incident that was more combat-related. Source: "Scientific Method"
[19] We haven't seen Mind Locations yet, the way I'm showing these, but there had been a few by the time I started doing the Enhanced addenda. The Mind Location here must be compatible with the target personnel, but Reflection Therapy may be played on it regardless of Treachery requirements. Source: Referenced in "Retrospect"
[20] Much too specialized. What were you thinking, Young Siskoid? At least the dilemma need not be sprung AT Empok Nor. Source: "Empok Nor"

Next up: There's an Andorian confusion to untangle.

Cards: Almond Pudding, Alpha-Hirogen, Wipe Out Timeline, Altair Sandwich, Aluura, Alva, Alzen, Amanin, Amaro

[A1-5] 'audet IX to Abandoned

Back in the late 90s, when I was deep into the Star Trek Collectible Card Game world, one of the projects I was doing on Decipher's Bulletin Boards was a massive set of dream cards under the banner "AtoZ" (with respect to Mr. Atoz of "All Our Yesterdays"). Essentially, I took the Star Trek Encyclopedia and attempted to create an ST CCG dream card for every entry, unless the character or concept already had a card, and I think at the time, Decipher didn't have access to TOS and the movies, so those seem to be excluded as well. I got to the middle of the M's, which accounts for thousands of cards. But the thing, see, is that none of those cards had graphics. They were all just text-based. Recently, I reconnected with the ST CCG community, some of them working with the Continuing Committee, which is still making new cards. They hooked me up with excellent templates from which to bring dream cards to life. And so I've gone back to my notes a...

[A147-155] Amphibian to Ancestral Spirits

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Hey, our first persona... THE ENTRIES: [147] amphibian [148] AMU [149] analeptic [150] anapestic tetrameter NOTES:  [147] She is a persona of Deanna Troi. Source: "Genesis" [148] Why if Range greater than 6? First, it encourages slower ships who need to see the outside of a binder. Second, because those ships have the bigger warp core, which leaks worse stuff. Source: "Threshold" [149] Of course, your personnel may still be mortally wounded. Hypospray's other uses cannot be used during the battle while the Event is in play - treat event's text as another "OR" clause on the equipment. Source: "Rise" [150] One function per foot in a line ;-) . Source: "Schisms" And now: Ooh, I get to skip everyone's favorite Gothic romance ghost! THE ENTRIES: [151] anaphasic life-form (no card requ...

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Source: "The Host" [158] None of the named characters were in the game when I made this card (which is naturally a Program under my scheme). Holodeck Adventures would make it an Incid...
