Broken Links [BL-A26-30] Saucer Separation to Stellar Cartography

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game... more Broken Links from Apocalypse Rising! This time: A couple of ship sites...

BROKEN LINKS:

[26] Saucer Separation
[27] Shakespeare's Own Words
[28] Sickbay
[29] Cards that allow changelings to fly through space without a ship
[30] Stellar Cartography

NOTES:
[26] The Battle Bridge [B118] downloads this card, but its first mention is on a space dilemma called Losing Containment! [A211], which gives a list of Escape Pod-type options. The player chooses which Section the cards go to (including damage cards), so long as it's legal (Ship Sites for example), and may abandon one Section entirely. Putting the ship together again would be done via the persona rules activated by each section. Source: "Encounter at Farpoint"
[27] It seems this card was a favorite for me to reference (the relationship between Star Trek and the Bard is ancient and well-documented), including (to date) on Algorian Ceremonial Rhythms [A88], Anapestic Tetrameter [A150] and Basai Master [B96]. Keyphrases in the lore include matching commander status, family relationships (especially in AtoZ), "dissident" etc., and even personae and species. It can be used on opposing personnel and ships. [28] Like Hospital, this site was referenced on the Heart Attack dilemma [A323], but also on Amniotic Research [A145]. There's no reason for it to be different from Infirmary. Source: TNG sets.
[29] Promised by Through the Anti-Back Flow Valve (Enhanced A31] and on Laas in this very set [BL-A9]. Source: "Chimera"
[30] Referenced in the note for Astrometrics Lab [Enhanced A43]. Source: "Generations"

Next up: Temporal stuff.

Cards: Saucer Separation, Shakespeare's Own Words, Sickbay, Space Flight, Stellar Cartography

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Source: "The Host" [158] None of the named characters were in the game when I made this card (which is naturally a Program under my scheme). Holodeck Adventures would make it an Incid...

Apocalypse Rising Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first two AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 100 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 100 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 113 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's B's. Note that Enhanced Apocalypse Rising would have been 4 special packs with set card lists, and A's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.

Broken Links [BL-B26-30] Species 8472 to The Net

More Broken Links... This time: 8472! BROKEN LINKS: [26] Species 8472 [27] Strike! [28] Baseball personnel [29] Ten-Forward [30] The Net NOTES:   [26] Needed to staff Bioships [B+49] and support all those 8472 infiltrators. In personnel battle, hand weapons don't count against them, they can't be negatively affected by Equipment cards. I almost made them unable to mix, but they definitely worked with Voyager a few times, so I've just made it more difficult to do so. Source: "Prey" [27] The card can be nullified by Bunt [B+74]. You either continue without effect, lose a personnel, or get stopped, but a "Ball" result may lose you some cards from the deck. Enterprise-D personnel are those that specifically reference the ship in their lore. Other ...
