Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Those dang Bothans...
THE ENTRIES:
[306] Boslics
[307] Botha
[308] Bothan
[309] Boyce
[310] Boylen, Lieutenant
[306] Rionoj is matching commander. Source: "Sons of Mogh"
[307] Bringing Empathy to that ship brings its crew out of stasis. A ship without Empathy could attempt the mission, solve it and leave before being "stopped" and placed in stasis. Source: Voyager's "Persistence of Vision"
[308] Combine with opponent's Cross Dangerous Territory and he won't have the Empathy personnel to save all his ships. Source: Voyager's "Persistence of Vision"
[309] A rare mix of skills. The "ancestor" mentioned in the lore is speculative. The character's name was a tip of the hat to that of Dr. Phillip Boyce, the original Enterprise's CMO from "The Cage". Source: "Starship Down" (I put a friend's face on another character)
[310] At the time the U.S.S. Pegasus didn't exist, and I imagined his reporting ability would prove useful on my version which might require a bit more staffing than most ships. The Pegasus came out in All Good Things, and Boylen can staff it alone. Source: "The Pegasus" (actually a crewman in "The Naked Now"
Next up: The Martian Chronicles.
Cards: Boslic Freighter, Cross Dangerous Territory, Bothan Psi Assault, Boyce, Boylen
