[B+ 1-5] IKC B'Moth to Ba'ku Planet

Enhanced By Inferno's Light begins! These are the cards based on the new entries in the next edition of the Encyclopedia. 75 cards in all, distributed in 5 boxes (P1-5) each with 15 Premium (enhanced) cards, bundled with 2 regular By Inferno's Light booster packs. I'll mention the frontpieces visible to the customer when they come up.

THE ENTRIES:
[1] B'Moth, IKS
[2] B'omar Sovereignty
[3] B'omar
[4] Br'er Rabbit
[5] Ba'ku planet

NOTES:
[1] At once mimics the T'Ong's and the Enterprise-C's reporting abilities. Source: "Soldiers of the Empire"
[2] You cannot reduce a mission's Span below 0. B'omar personnel will include the likes of Gaumen and Dumah. Source: "The Raven"
[3] To make various DQ races interesting, I give them things that can only be used by them. Staffing here merely requires one member of the B'omar species. If commandeered, THEN it may be staffed by a Command icon. Source: "The Raven"
[4] Playing Tactics blind means that which Tactic is played (among the two or more drawn from the side-deck) is a random selection rather than the player's. No Tactical Console may be "installed" on the ship as long as this damage counter remains on it. Not exactly the same, but close enough, Decipher's BaH! expansion made this as the Riker Maneuver (included for comparison). Source: Star Trek: Insurrection
[5] I'm having the Son'a align with whichever power is ready to do the job (the Feds weren't). Decipher made this as Insurrection (doh! why didn't *I* think of that?) and released in The Motion Pictures expansion (included for comparison). Source: Star Trek: Insurrection

Next up: More Ba'ku.

Cards: IKC B'Moth, Cut Through Red Tape, B'omar Attack Fighter, Br'er Rabbit Maneuver, Forced Relocation

    RE: awesome cards
Finally, I can recreate ST:Insurrection with a mission card that you can actually get,
rather than it being short printed and unobtainium.
The B'omar staffing criteria is nice - I wish that was a house rule that applied to all factions,
Ferengi vessels being staffed by unaligned never sat quite right with me.
    Many thanks again, Siskoid!
    PS: Happy New Year 2026

    1. Was Insurrection really short printed? It's a Common, after all. I suppose The Motion Pictures was short printed, but I always got my two boxes of each expansion from Decipher at this point (as payment for writing articles for their site), so I'm sure I must have multiple copies of the mission. Send me your address at michel.siskoid.albert (at) gmail (dot) com and I'll see if I can't find out and send it to you.

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Apocalypse Rising Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first two AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 100 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 100 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 113 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's B's. Note that Enhanced Apocalypse Rising would have been 4 special packs with set card lists, and A's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.

Broken Links [BL-B26-30] Species 8472 to The Net

More Broken Links... This time: 8472! BROKEN LINKS: [26] Species 8472 [27] Strike! [28] Baseball personnel [29] Ten-Forward [30] The Net NOTES:   [26] Needed to staff Bioships [B+49] and support all those 8472 infiltrators. In personnel battle, hand weapons don't count against them, they can't be negatively affected by Equipment cards. I almost made them unable to mix, but they definitely worked with Voyager a few times, so I've just made it more difficult to do so. Source: "Prey" [27] The card can be nullified by Bunt [B+74]. You either continue without effect, lose a personnel, or get stopped, but a "Ball" result may lose you some cards from the deck.
