[C+ 41-45] Christmas Carol to Chrysalis

One of Star Trek's rare Christmas references...

THE ENTRIES:
[41] Christmas Carol, A
[42] chromodynamic shield
[43] chromoelectric force field
[44] chromoelectric pulse
[45] "Chrysalis"

NOTES:
[41] All the characters that are learning about humanity are included. The joke is that Data was using this program to learn about humanity, and Seven of Nine was later told to read the book for the same reason. Source: "Devil's Due"
[42] The first effect works from all locations within this region, the second only on the specific spaceline location. The first effect is cumulative, but needs to be played on different region locations (it's one per location). The countdown puts a time limit on the Objective. Source: Star Trek: Insurrection
[43] A kind of Dead End, I suppose, but it has a countdown. Source: "Retrospect"
[44] Coaxial Warp Drive is an event that plays on a ship. If the third function is used, Transwarp Conduit cannot be played on the ship to enhance its RANGE, nor can a Borg ship use a Transwarp Network Gateway. Source: "Vis à Vis"
[45] The countdown starts as soon as the Incident is flipped over. Cosmological Constant will nullify it. Source: "Chrysalis"

Next up: A Kira and a lot of class.

Cards: A Christmas Carol, Chromodynamic Shield, Force Field, Chromoelectric Pusle, Big Crunch

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Source: "The Host" [158] None of the named characters were in the game when I made this card (which is naturally a Program under my scheme). Holodeck Adventures would make it an Incid...

Apocalypse Rising Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first two AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 100 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 100 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 113 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's B's. Note that Enhanced Apocalypse Rising would have been 4 special packs with set card lists, and A's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.

Broken Links [BL-B26-30] Species 8472 to The Net

More Broken Links... This time: 8472! BROKEN LINKS: [26] Species 8472 [27] Strike! [28] Baseball personnel [29] Ten-Forward [30] The Net NOTES:   [26] Needed to staff Bioships [B+49] and support all those 8472 infiltrators. In personnel battle, hand weapons don't count against them, they can't be negatively affected by Equipment cards. I almost made them unable to mix, but they definitely worked with Voyager a few times, so I've just made it more difficult to do so. Source: "Prey" [27] The card can be nullified by Bunt [B+74]. You either continue without effect, lose a personnel, or get stopped, but a "Ball" result may lose you some cards from the deck.
