[D 56-60] Darvin to Data Clip

Hand out some Darwin awards...

THE ENTRIES:
[56] Darvin, Arne
[57] darvot fritters
[58] Darwin Genetic Research Station
[59] Darwin, Frank
[60] data clip

Decipher's version for comparison:
NOTES:
[56] Gives the Klingons a chance to infiltrate, too. The Encyclopedia entry gave me a choice here between the 24th-century Darvin or the one from TOS, and I chose the earlier one (who has since been made by Decipher for the Trouble with Tribbles expansion, included for comparison). I thought he was more interesting. Source: "The Trouble with Tribbles"
[57] Flips over like distortion field. Other Food cards can be returned to hand voluntarily or by making upkeeping personnel leave the Food-serving site. Not this one, to keep players from reporting it active every turn. Source: "Phage"
[58] The original design for this required probing and there was no room for all that stuff on the card, so I tightened it up. A clone would include Kahless, for example. Only one card may be downloaded per turn. For fun, download (AtoZ's) Clone Machine, then any number of Kahlesses. Source: "Unnatural Selection"
[59] A pro-redshirt card. The dilemma (or interrupt) must specifically state that it penalizes a player for using those Away Teams. Interrupts like Alien Groupie and Thine Own Self, for example. Source: Part of his corpse is seen in "Meld".
[60] Fits in combos with Abandon Ship! or Alien Abduction. If the requirements are absent, it only stops for that turn, since it is then placed on the mission location. Source: "Armageddon Game"

Next up: Data already has a card, but that's no reason not to do Data stuff.

Cards: Arne Darvin, Darvot Fritters, Genetic Research Station, Frank Darwin, Forged Data Clip

Apocalypse Rising Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first two AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 100 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 100 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 113 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's B's. Note that Enhanced Apocalypse Rising would have been 4 special packs with set card lists, and A's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Source: "The Host" [158] None of the named characters were in the game when I made this card (which is naturally a Program under my scheme). Holodeck Adventures would make it an Incid...

By Inferno's Light Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first few AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 112 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 117 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 107 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's C's. Note that Enhanced By Inferno's Light would have been 5 special packs with set card lists, and B's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.
