[D 71-75] Davila to Dax

Gearing up to do a bunch of Dax cards...

THE ENTRIES:
[71] Davila, Carmen
[72] Da Vinci Falls
[73] Davis, Ensign
[74] Davlos III
[75] Dax (symbiont)

NOTES:

[72] No matter how many Da Vinci Falls you play, you can only change one requirement on a particular mission. Allows you to change requirements that were already changed through terraforming, even on your opponent's mission. The second function is just for fun and theme's sake, but it allows Leonardo to report outside the Delta quadrant. Source: Referenced in "Second Sight"
[73] If there is no adjacent site, the escape cannot occur. Source: "Violations"
[74] A big mission for the Ferengi as their STRENGTH isn't going to be high on average. With your opponent playing Klingons, the mission requires STRENGTH>50 and is worth 50 points. Source: "Visionary"
[75] My original try at the symbiont itself was a Neutral persona that could survive without a host, but not use its skills until joined. It was complicated and definitely didn't fit on a personnel card. I turned it into an Incident that does all the same things. Because it counts as a Dax persona, it may be switched with Jadzia or Ezri as if it were a personnel, but it still needs an unjoined Trill to land on. If you switch Jadzia IN, the current host goes back to hand like it's part of the persona. Either way, the toughest thing here was figuring out what skills were the symbiont's and which came from Jadzia (who was then our only Dax). Source: "Invasive Procedures"

Next up: Getting into Dax's hosts.

Cards: Carmen Davila, DaVinci Falls, Davis, Undermine Trading, Dax

Apocalypse Rising Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first two AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 100 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 100 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 113 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's B's. Note that Enhanced Apocalypse Rising would have been 4 special packs with set card lists, and A's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.

[A156-165] Anchilles to Andorian

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. A couple of Program cards, incoming... THE ENTRIES: [156] Anchilles fever [157] Ancient Philosophies [158] Ancient West [159] Andarian glass bead [160] Andevian II  How Decipher handled it, for comparison: NOTES:  [156] Probing on a dilemma doesn't leave you much space to work with, does it? Source: While first mentioned in TNG's "Code of Honor", the virus was pictured in Enterprise's "Cold Station 12". [157] Something to seed yourself? I say "first artifact encountered" because there may be more than one under such missions as Orb Negotiations, and both opponents may have seeded one under the same mission. Source: "The Host" [158] None of the named characters were in the game when I made this card (which is naturally a Program under my scheme). Holodeck Adventures would make it an Incid...

By Inferno's Light Virtual Pack

I didn't do this for EVERY letter, but the first few AtoZ "expansions" had working booster packs of 15 cards, sorted like so: 11 commons (of 112 possibilities), 3 uncommons (of 117 possibilities) and 1 rare (of 107 possibilities). Which means that every time you refresh this page, you will get a different distribution of cards! Makes a nice palate cleanse before heading into the Encyclopedia's C's. Note that Enhanced By Inferno's Light would have been 5 special packs with set card lists, and B's Broken Links would have come in a 40-page box, so those cards aren't in the booster.
