[B201-205] Big Bang to U.S.S. Biko

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Ready for the Big Goodbye? THE ENTRIES: [201] Big Bang [202] "Big Goodbye, The" (episode) [203] "Big Goodbye, The" [204] big daddy-o [205] Biko, U.S.S.  NOTES:  [201] This Time Location is found in the Q-Continuum side-deck. Only one player can benefit from the points, and only once. It can be reached like any other time location (through time travel), but from a starting point in any "present" location. This used to just say Quinn, but Decipher later made a Quinn interrupt, so I had to tweak the game text. Source: Voyager's "Death Wish" [202] Holodeck will be a ship site in AtoZ. If there is no Holodeck site, any personnel present may be affected. If there is, and no personnel are at that site, relocate the missing personnel by randomly selecting the targets from total pool of personnel aboard ship. Since...

[B196-200] Beth Delta I to Bicardine

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. About to hit 200 in the B's... THE ENTRIES: [196] Beth Delta I [197] Betreka Nebula Incident [198] Beumont, Neffie [199] Bhavani, Premier [200] bicaridine treatmentt NOTES:  [196] I just didn't think Dominion citizens ever really enjoy themselves. Source: TNG's "Evolution" [197] I guess it HAD to be an Incident ;-). Effects extend to the mirror Treaty: Cardassian/Klingon/Bajoran. The only limit to the number of points you can get from the card is the number of ships of the appropriate type available for destruction. Note as well that you could bring your own Cardassian and Klingon cards to a nebula. Your opponent doesn't actually need to have cards there. A Car/Kli dual-affiliation personnel could do the trick alone. Source: Referenced in "The Way of the Warrior", but I kitbashed an image from various non-TV sourc...

[B191-195] Beta-Tachyon to Betazoids

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. We're heading for Betazed... THE ENTRIES: [191] beta-tachyon [192] Betar Prize [193] Betazed, Holy Rings of [194] Betazed (no card required) [195] Betazoids  NOTES:  [191] Q-related cards include every one that has the Q icon (including Guinan, Q-Flash and I Am Not a Merry Man!) and those with the capital letter Q in them (not Quantum Singularity Lifeform, it has to refer to the Q) like Q's Tent, Q-Net, Q2, Mortal Q and even K'chiQ. Cards in the discard pile or seeded and unrevealed do not count. Source: "The Q and the Grey" [192] I used the Hugo Award as the basis for the Betar Prize; it seemed appropriate. Betar Prize makes the Jake and Nog dual-personnel a VIP/CIVILIAN, not a VIP/VIP. Anslem was in the A expansion; Collected Stories will be in the C expansion. Source: "The Visitor" [193] The last clause makes it po...

[B186-190] Beta Moon to Beta Thoridor

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Still in Beta... THE ENTRIES: [186] Beta Moon (no card required) [187] Beta Renner cloud [188] Beta Renner system [189] Beta Stromgren (no card required) [190] Beta Thoridor NOTES:  [186] Already exists as the Basic Set's Diplomacy Mission. [187] Once the personnel is rescued, it is no longer in stasis. Source: "Lonely Among Us" [188] Source: TNG's "Lonely Among Us" [189] Already exists as the Basic Set's Investigate Sighting. [190] It was Beta Thoridar (with an "a") in the Encyclopedia, but that's been revised, so I did too. The Duras family includes Duras, Toral, Sisters of Duras, B'Etor, Lursa and Ja'rod. Getting Klingon SECURITY with no Honor isn't as easy as it sounds.  Source: TNG's "Redemption" Next up: We're going to Betazed! Cards: Beta Renner Cloud, Study Sentient ...

[B181-185] Bestri Woods to Beta Magellan

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. It's almost all Beta for a while (not literally)... THE ENTRIES: [181] Bestri Woods [182] Beta Agni II [183] Beta Kupsic [184] Beta Lankal (no card required) [185] Beta Magellan NOTES:  [181] When battle ends, STRENGTH totals are calculated according to each player's unstunned personnel, as is normal. Source: Referenced in "Second Skin" [182] Discarding Kivas Fajo does not entitle you to its game text. The mission has been given to the Klingons much like Fever Emergency was. Source: TNG's "The Most Toys" [183] Get yourself either +2 RANGE, WEAPONS or SHIELDS for the rest of the game. Player's choice is more than one attribute would fit. Source: TNG's "The Icarus Factor" [184] Already exists as the Basic Set's Medical Relief. [185] At once a mission and a trap. Stall your opponent's ship here ...

[B176-180] Berthold Rays to Best of Both Worlds

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. I promise The Best of Both Worlds... THE ENTRIES: [176] berthold rays [177] Bertram [178] berylite scan [179] "Best of Both Worlds, Part I, The" [180] "Best of Both Worlds, Part II, The"  Decipher's version, for comparison: NOTES:  [176] The Calamarain is discarded whether or not it killed a personnel. Source: "Déjà Q" [177] The STRENGTH bonus is calculated in a specific match between Bertram and a Jem'Hadar as well as in the totals resolution at battle's end if Jem'Hadar were involved, even if Bertram didn't get matched up with a Jem'Hadar specifically. Source: In "The Ship", she is a woman in a red uniform, but too blurry to use. Since my card had her as SECURITY, I went and looked for a similar background artist in gold. Found one in "The Way of the Warrior". [178] The MEDI...

[B171-175] Bernard to Berserker

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Dads, kids, and cats... THE ENTRIES: [171] Bernard, Dr. Harry, Sr. [172] Bernard, Harry, Jr. [173] Bersallis firestorms (no card required) [174] Bersallis III [175] berserker cat NOTES:  [171] Source: "When The Bough Breaks" [172] The special ability allows Harry to be returned to hand if you chose to discard Youth at Investigate Legend. Not only do you get to keep the personnel, you score points to boot. Source: "When The Bough Breaks" [173] Exists as the Basic Set dilemma Firestorm. [174] Thermal Deflectors must be in play (on the table) to be used as a mission requirement. When a Firestorm is uncovered here, it first has its effect. At the end of that very turn, it has its effect again (though either you have Thermal Deflectors and personnel are still fine, or the low INTEGRITY personnel are already dead). Makes Bersallis III ...

[B166-170] Berik to Berlioz

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Ich bin ein Berliner... THE ENTRIES: [166] Berik [167] beritium [168] Berlin, Karyn [169] Berlin, U.S.S. [170] Berlioz, Hector Decipher's version, for comparison: NOTES:  [166] A universal Ferengi mainly designed to fill out the affiliation. Decipher produced its own version in the Rules of Acquisition expansion (included for comparison); very different assumptions (and needs). Source: "Rascals" [167] Source: Referenced in "The Search, Part I" and "The Darkness and the Light" [168] The Briori kidnapped humans from Earth in 1937, long before the Borg tampered with history. (As timeline disruption mechanics mount up, her special skill might eventually lose Trek Sense points.) Source: "The 37's" [169] Source: First referenced in "Angel One" (where it answered a distress call from an outpost on t...

[B161-165] Benzites to Berellians

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Cards that play on species prejudice... THE ENTRIES: [161] Benzites [162] benzocyatizine [163] Beowulf [164] Berel [165] Berellians  NOTES:  [161] This is in no way meant as a racist remark (except mocking Wesley's). Not against Benzites, not against anybody. The two known Benzites are Mendon and Mordock and both were played by the same actor, the source of Wesley's confusion in "A Matter of Honor". [162] This does not turn the Trill into a mission specialist. You can take over an opponent's Infirmary or Sickbay and use the equipment there to cure your Trill (says "any"). Source: "Equilibrium" [163] The Program card is a mini-mission. The requirements may seem easy, but those skills are on few holographic personnel and MUST be supplied by them. Beowulf-related personnel include Freya, Grendel, King Hrothgar ...

[B156-160] Bennett to Benzar

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Okay, okay, UPPER Deckers... THE ENTRIES: [156] Bennett, Rear Admiral [157] Bensen, Bjorn [158] Benteen, Erika [159] Benzan [160] Benzar NOTES:  [156] "Mutants" are genetically enhanced humanoids like Julian Bashir. Source: "Doctor Bashir, I Presume" [157] Actually makes Terraforming Station playable rather than seedable (under the right conditions). It would be possible to download any number of Terraforming Stations to various planets during the first half of the game. Source: "Home Soil" [158] The Leyton Founder's presence is enough to make able to attack the Federation. Source: "Paradise Losr" [159] Yanar will show up in the set's Broken Links. Source: "The Outrageous Okona" [160] This was a crazy one, so I had to force the template, as different affiliations can solve this mission depend...

[B151-155] Bandara to Bennett

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Even more Lower Deckers... THE ENTRIES: [151] Bendera, Kurt [152] Bendii Syndrome (no card required) [153] Benev Selec [154] Benil, Gul [155] Bennett, Ensign  Decipher's version, for comparison: NOTES:  [151] "Kazon" rather than the Kazon-affiliation icon because my own Kazon ships would be N/A. This was long before the Voyager expansion came out. The skill is cumulative. Source: "Learning Curve" [152] Already exists as dilemma in the Q-Continuum expansion. [153] You'll have to wait 'til the "I" expansion to check it out, but Ico-Spectrogram Results will have something to do with scanning. Benev Selec is the local name for Drema IV, which is already the 2-Player Game mission Survey Instability, but said to be in the "Sector", even though it's a specific planet, so I upended that with the planet...
